Small A6 notebook - yellow butterflies
I have created this cute notebook, completely from scratch. The cover is made from compressed card made for book making and the spine has been reinforced for stability. I have chosen this vibrant yellow cotton fabric with colourful butterflies, to cover the notebook, which I think really makes it a fun book, suitable for all ages. I have lined the inside covers with a beige paper which has coloured stitch lines printed onto it. The front cover is decorated with a matching piece of the inside cover paper and on top is a small piece of hand dyed cotton on which I have written the word 'Notes' and I have also edged this fabric with mock stitch lines.
The internal pages are made up of 72 pages and in pastel green, lemon and also white. There are two seperate sections (signatures) each containing 36pages and both have been hand sewn into the spine using a strong cotton thread and the 3 hole pamphlet stitich.
I really enjoy bookmaking and creating one of a kind notebooks.
The notebook measures 10.2 x 7.7 x 1.5cms
